What to expect

Students who have the opportunity to attend the P.A.R.T.Y. Program will meet the people that care for trauma patients - paramedics, doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and volunteers.

Through interviews with patients, family members, simulated clinical scenarios, and DVD and other presentations - students will be exposed to the painful journey of a trauma patient. They will learn about trauma injuries, and get hands-on experience with equipment used in trauma care and rehabilitation.

Due to the nature of the program, participants need to be 15 years of age or older.
